40-inch Natural Gas Metering System with Ultrasonic Flowmeters
A 40-inch natural gas metering system: two duty runs and one check/spare run with ultrasonic gas flowmeters, from engineering to shop tests.
For Ferrous Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd, SEMAC engineered and built a 40-inch natural gas metering system for a project in the Middle East. The project ran from January 2020 to June 2021.
The system has two duty runs and one check/spare run, with ultrasonic gas flowmeters. SEMAC handled the engineering and design, the supply of raw materials, and the fabrication and assembly, with quality assurance and control, shop tests and inspections.
After marking, packing and inspection, the system was delivered with its QC documents, the mechanical completion book (MC book) and the spare parts for commissioning and for two years of operation. The photos show the meter runs with their valves and actuators.
