Prefabrication and field mechanical works for DESFA and TAP facilities at the IGB station in Komotini, with system installation, cabling and common utilities.
At the station of the Gas Interconnector Greece–Bulgaria (IGB) in Komotini, SEMAC carried out the prefabrication and field mechanical works for the DESFA and TAP facilities on behalf of AVAX S.A., for the end client ICGB A.D. The works ran from March 2021 to August 2022.
Our team installed the piping and fittings, the instrumentation, the gas filter separators and the metering systems, and connected the station's regulating and analyser systems. It also carried out the electrical and instrumentation works and the cable laying.
The project also covered the station's common utilities: valves, fuel gas skids and closed drain systems. The aerial photos and the drone video show the station by day and by night.
