Electrical and mechanical works for the Agios Dimitrios–Elliniko extension of Athens Metro Line 2.
Scope of work
Electrical works: installation, connection and testing
Traction power substation for train operation (rectifier substation) Power substation for all auxiliary loads of the station (auxiliary substation) Medium- and low-voltage panels for power distribution, lighting, low-current and communication systems UPS system: UPS panels, battery room and battery charger Grounding system Automation and control system: BACS and PLC equipment Telecommunications: cameras, loudspeakers, microphones and telephone devices Lighting system: lighting panels, switches and sockets Fire detection system: fire-fighting panel and equipment HVAC system Signalling equipment Access control and intrusion detection system Cable routes as per the design: trays, conduits, flexible conduits or ducts. The contractor supplied the equipment, trays and cables; we supplied the support materials — conduits, cable connection materials (end boxes, boxes, clamps, connectors) and marking materials
Mechanical works: installation
Expansion shaft fans (BSF) Motorised fire dampers (MFD) Silencers Rails and monorail for erecting electrical and mechanical equipment The contractor supplied the equipment; we supplied the support materials
